Hi All,

Sean aka Vertico has just released his own brand of offshore fishing hooks under the PETackle name.

Currently available in 6/0, 8/0 and 10/0 Cirlces and 8/0 Reefmaster (Similar to Mustard's new Deep V style) all are drop forged and heavy gauge, made specifically for those hard fighting reefies like big trout, reds, cod, snapper, pearlies, etc.

These hooks are second to none in strength and quality for the price. We have extensively used these hooks over numerous trips with not one straightening or breaking no matter what size fish.

Help the small scale local guy out rather than purchasing off the large importers and at the same time leaving extra dollars in your pocket for your next fishing trip. If sales go well then he is looking to increase the range also.

Visit www.petackle.com to purchase or PM Vertico.

Pics are below. Tight lines!

Are the hooks kirbed or non-kirbed? Well priced I'd say.
Cheers.

Gave these a very good test out on the weekend with 17 reds taken on them! Pics in the offshore reports section.

Found the Reefmasters to be especially good on those really big baits when chasing the reds. Never had one issues with straightening or breaking hooks while my mate broke many gamakatsu circles on good fish...

Do you fish the reefmaster's the same as cirlcle's - ie, no strike

I strike no matter what hooks I am using..... I have never not striked using circle hooks. I do however always fish with my reel in freespool and allow the fish to take a fair amount of line before I apply drag and strike....

with those PE tackle circles hooks for reefies, I feel the bite, drop the rod tip to the water to give slack, wait for the next pull on the line and lift - game on

works for me

cheers

had a tour of the fly factory the other week, some nice goodies there and picked up some high quality tail material for my own lure range. Thanks again Sean the fly material is as high quality as i can find and works a treat.
