Please note, if you have signed the paper petition, do not sign the online version.
We need this to stand up in parliament, and doubling up of details will not help our cause.

Is this only for Qld residents TRA?
Nope, its was aimed initially at people who fish on the Qld and NSW coast, whether from interstate or local. Considering all Australians are affected by the Marine Bioregional planning I suggest everyone signs it!

Signed.
No where do the greens/enviromentalists mention the great in-roads that the catch and release fishery initiatives 'we'(fishos) as a whole has made towards a longer and more sustainable fishery into the future for our children and consequently theirs after them. All we ever hear is how rec fishos take anything they want without regard for the greater eco system.

Pretty poor response so far. Only 107 signatures.
We have a 1000 sigs on paper. I guess people are just not interested in protecting their right to go fishing...

We have to keep those grounds in pristine condition and no-take zones so coal and oil tankers can run aground and pollute them instead!
