Hi
Heading down to Cardwell with my girlfriend and tinny in a couple of weeks. Thinking of having a guide the first day as never fished there before.
Luring and live baiting
Anyone got any recommendations?
Regards
Jim

Ryan Moody would be the number one choice. Al Goodwin has been round since forever but he might be Lucinda based. Steve Jetson is another name mentioned in despatches a fair bit but he might be Townsville based that fishes up that way and dunno if he is still in the game. That's a few names to chase up. Townsville way I would be hitting up Andy Mead.

Ryan Moody for sure. He put me onto a session of good barra in the middle of winter!

Have fished with Al Goodwin (Crackajack Tours) several years ago and was impressed with his knowledge of the area and fishing set up. He is based in Lucinda and not sure if he does day tours (3 days might be min?). He is certainly happy to provide advice. Cheers Brett.

Ryan Moody knows his stuff, and you won't be limited to catching barra either, he'll also get you onto some cracker jacks, salmon, fingermark, nannygai (if weather permits), Jew etc. To be honest what Moody doesn't know about fishing up here isn't worth knowing.

No answers from any of Ryan's contacts from google - maybe changed his business name - anyone know ?

MickS - how did you contact Mick Radloff -? google searches revealed nothing other than a mention in an article. Maybe he has a business name that you know of

Thanks for the replies guys
