Mooloolaba Jigging

Hey guys does anyone have a place for me to go and try out my new jigging outfit, Stella 20000SW and JigWrexAX605 300g 80lbs Daiwa SW Si with 80lb Fluro leader. Im using 180g River2Sea knife jigs, Williamson and chaos tackle jigs. I've been told to try the gneerings and the blinker? what do i look for... what time of day? any other spots to test out? i can go wide if need be...

I do very little offshore fishing on the sunny coast, but i think your best bet would be to head out to the deeper reefs, http://www.fishnet.com.au/information/gps/sunsh.txt go to this it tells you depth and common species. ask around at kawana bait and tackle they can tell you more.
