Is it just me? I find this site increasingly slow to load. I have a new computer, all the bells etc on it.

Please do not tell me I need Firefox, and I do not need Mozilla. It's like the net when we had 14.4k modems.:helpa:

Click the button go have 3 smokes and come back to see the page laoded.:wut: :wut:

I know its just had a server upgrade. but is the site too big for itself? Too many files and photos in the system making it slow loading? I mean, WTF???????????

Rally pi***** me off lately.:veryangry:

Sometimes i just give up and go surfing else where.

Anyone else having this problem???????? Hissy fit over.

Mike , you mite want to download spybot search and destroy. You probably have some spyware on ur computer slowing the connection down.

i had the same problem and gee's , it would take forever to load.

It's a free program.

Just kidding matey. I know you would not take it up again. Kim would rip lefty out of you if you did.

Probably something running in the background like a firewall settings or virus protection or some such thing or is the young fella downloading pawn again and sucking up all the kilobite thingoes??
Gees...don't tell him I said that. He's bigger then me and, more then likely, hit harder then me. I kinda like my mug as it is thanks. He doesn't have hissy fits does he??

No, not having any trouble here.

Have you tried doing a trace route from your ip address to the ausfish server address to see if there is any delay along the route?

Or perhaps you could try flushing your browser and DNS caches, that sometimes helps.

Download firefox (or another browser) and see if it fixes the problem. At least you'll know then if it's a browser problem or some other issue on your pc.

Mike - you using ADSL2 ?

I upgraded a few months ago and everything was slow. Turns out it was a Telstra problem. My line speed was a tenth of what it should have been.

Might be worth getting your supplier to test the line.. that's after spending an hour on the phone.. Makes Ausfish look a good deal then..
