Lake Cania report

Hey all,

Headed up to Lake Cania within the next week and haven't been up that way for a few years. I was wondering if anyone out there have been up that way lately and able to shed some light on how its fishing.

Hello Wooly, just arrived home 1hour ago from 5 days at Cania. Fishing very hard at present. We spoke to many people at the dam and the only reported fish was 1 saratoga. We managed 4 bass, 1 yella and a turtle. Even the guys using live shrimp weren't successful. The fish that we did catch all came on ultralightweight spinnerbaits cast up into the water behind the clumps of grass. Had numerous hits on poppers but none stayed connected.
