Sightcasting to Longtail on the flats video

Hi All..

Thought I would do a thread for those who enjoy a bit of footage for a change.
This was from a few weeks ago but it shows the fish in the shallow water and if you look close in the top left corner, you will acually see the lure hit the water. The footage is from cast to capture using soft plastics on the Egrell S10.

Nice going there BeaR, the water depth looked shallow so how deep were you fishing in.

good stuff eric and deb! great fun on light gear, video footage is a great. we havent had a crack at them yet this year.

Hi Ozassassin...The water depth in the video is around 5-6ft but on that same day we caught a number of other longtail up to 18kg in water that was so shallow I was trimming my motor up. It's a real buzz.
