Hi Guys
I need to replace the guides on a couple of rods, but the sizes of the guides have been ground off or not recognisable, how can I measure them to order the correct size? or is there a chart I can place them on to get an accurate measure.

The diameter of the hole is the size of the guide, regardless of frame style.
Sporty,
The guides are measured to the outside of the ring, not the inside.
So a #10 is nominally 10mm OD measured on the insert (not the frame) and not 10mm ID as you might expect.
The actual measurement varies between manufacturers and guide type.
In the case of the tip you also have the tube ID which is (usually) measured in 64ths of an inch.
Simple huh?!?!?
