2 lanes with pontoon, heaps of water any stage of the tide. Good cleaning table. If your fishing outside and new to the area do you research as the SWR bar demands ALLOT of respect and knowledge.

I've fished there regularly for 20 years, pm me if you want more info.

The back creek is a safer option if your boat is smallish. A tinny to 5m should be OK. Just need to pick the tides. Or the other option if going offshore is to beach launch from under the gaol.

I have a 5m quintrex with a 60 yamaha 4 stroke. Beach launch not a option,
as i only have falcon sedan to tow it with.

That SWR bar is the most frightening I have ever seen!
Back creek for me - but your bigger boat would need to be high tide and check with locals if silted up a bit.

If you are thinking of going out the creek just take a couple of beers down there when you get to SWR and sit on the breakwall and suss it out. You can get a good idea just by spending a bit of time looking at it. You can also walk out the main river breakwall and check that too. Always good to be prepared. The ramps are the least of your worries. Its a top spot;D
