Having recently relocated to Broome in the Kimberley region of WA I went in search of some land-based fun with my 2-4kg setup in hand. After only a few casts with a unweighted 5" plastic I had maybe 4 or 5 little queenies going nuts over my presentation. Soon after I hooked one and after a few quick bursts and a couple of aerials I had it beat up on the rocks. For the next 30-40mins I continued to catch these little 1-2kg fish on various presentations with most needing more than a little time to revive. Not much seemed to be around on this day so ended the short session with a taste of what to expect from my new home. Enjoy the pics.

Mate not a bad way to break in a new spot. If that area is half as good as everyone makes out you should enjoy yourself.

Great stuff! Your photos are always top notch Damo. What camera?

I would sell up and move to Broome & the Kimberleys in a heartbeat. I loooooved Kununarra too. Not enough time to suss it all out on a holiday.

Went up to Willie Creek land based & got bitten off by some serious speedsters - fan-bloody-tastic place of the world.
