SIP`s North Pine Dam

Do you need a permit to fish land based @ North Pine dam? might seem a silly question to some but I only thought the permit was for the boaties with electrics etc, but have heard recently on the spot fines have been handed out at forgans cove to people fishing from the bank ? can anyone shed some light on this please. Yes Andrew, You need a SIP permit to fish NPD. I have heard that Fisheries Officers have made quite a few trips out to the lake and have nabbed a number of people.
