Nice arvo river sesh.....

took one of my mates out this arv in the bris river for a quick flick, he'd been hounding me for ages cause he'd never been fishing before ( other than once with a hand line). We'd been fishin for about an hour and I got onto some breambos and a flatty and he hadn't got one hit so I told him I'd change the lure for him( he couldn't tie a knot haha) and next thing his line was peeling off pretty quick. I called a nice bream but then next thing I seen a flash of red and a nice little 30cm Jack come into the net! After that picked up some more bream (all 26-27cm) and a liitle cod.. Good to catch up with chief on the water, he actually got some snaps of the Jack.. Water was pretty filthy, but a top couple of hours on the water! Sorry can't work out how to put pics up off my iPhone haven't got a computer at the moment. I will try work it out.

Oh Jack was caught on an atomic hardz 38 and I was using a R2S d40 f. All fish released.

Nice effort Jesse, where abouts the river you pull a jack? I been fishing the brissy upper / mouth reaches and only ever see them in my dreams... LoL Great catch for your mate, how much hounding before you put me on to a jack? hahahah Great effort in the river mate.

It's always great to get some mates into fishing. I had a go at it the other day, but after it pissing down with rain, my mate decided he didn't want to show up. Only caught a few undersize bream anyway.

Good on you fellas, there was a few fish around ,surprised me for how dirty the water was. No good quality bream tho. Even with all the fresh there wasn't much run out. Not much run at all. It was funny you know I just mentioned to Garrett we'll have a few casts and change spots to the opposite wall where it;s a bit deeper and I looked up and you were already heading there. Good call ;D

Mossy... We were workin some rock walls downstream of the bridge... I was pumped when that little Jack come onboard, definetly a good bycatch and hopefully can find a few more...
