Beach Fishing

Hey all,

I live on the Gold Coast and want to try beach fishing but have no idea where it is good to go.

Any advice of where to go and what to use???

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try next to the sand pumping jetty. 3 or 4 gang hooks with a nice freshly thawed pilly. Good long surf rod and get it out there.

Probably a bit early for tailor but when its nice and cold and getting wet is not good.......thats when the tailor show themselves. Get your bait out as far as possible and every minute or so wind it in a few revolutions just to keep the bait on the move.

Smaller hooks with some pippy or prawn flesh on might see you get into a few dart

drive alomg the road thats next to the beach early morning late afternoon when you some people fishing sto[ and have a look if they are catching fish see what the y are using and remember where they are, ask a few questions most fishos i know will always help
