G'day all, can anyone give any info on Lime Pocket on Bribie. Camping, fishing etc. A bit worried about tacking the missus and kid cause I could imagine the sandflies and mossies being pretty friendly. Thanks.

Was up there on the weekend mate and the mossies were out of control. Worst I have ever seen up there. They were in theprocess of spraying though so it cant get any worse. Coupla snakes round this trip too. One red bellied and a green. Never see many up there normally.

Mission Point is probably friendlier for the family. Nicer beaches and a toilet block.

SBM Has the better spot for families.

I can also confirm CV post in regards to mossies.

My old man pumped yabbies near by and he recons in the 20 years of fishing the passage he has never seen them so bad.

As said mission is better. We camp there regularly and love it. The mossies are real bad at the moment even in town at bribie.
