had a chance to get out finallyin the bay to explore a few old haunts, started down around the picnics with a nice incoming tide ,landed an 800mm spaniard on a slug in the current line between coming and going tide, they meet nicely right in the middle of the islands ,landed a few smaller squire ,lizards trevs and 2 real energetic goldens in another spot with great water flow ,landing these in currents are great fun on light to medium gear they went around 10kg ,the second one went as hard as i have had for a long time with blistering runs and huge head shakes all in all a good arvo session cheers AL

Some quality fish there. Those Goldens certainly fight well. They are the only Trevs I keep for the table.

most of the bay is partially smooth waters so dont need an epirb ,there is an imaginary line between roonies point to the fairways bouys andover to burrum heads which divides the partially smooth from epirb territory its on most maps

mainly in the fin sizes to begin with, dorsal and anal are way bigger than a spano
