A simple way is to use a #4 Hawaiian Snap & #4 Owner STN66 treble

cut a belly flap on a slick rig or a little hole in the belly of a Hollowbelly - fit the treble & push the opening end off the snap onto the shank of the jig head

You can use a bit of shape tube pushed over the barb & down the bend for added security

Chris

PS .... You can do the same thing to other larger swim baits if you use a larger snap (Use a quality snap)

alternatively - a black crane swivel is pushed over the point & out the belly - the treble is attached via a split ring ( use the shape tube again for security)

I will vouch for that way seems to work good so far but still need to test it on a fish IM sure chris has so if he reckons a good thing it is i say

Nagg,
Any chance of a photo mate?
I guess I understand the methodology etc, but curious to see it - how far the treble is set back, how deep the treble sits etc.

Cheers.
Scott.

Thanks Nagg.
That is similar to what I was expecting, wasn't sure if one point of the treble would be inserted into the underside or not - just swinging like it is looks like it would be pretty effective.

Cheers.
