Well, we had another overnighter in the North-West recently so here are the results. 9 jacks in 2 days with 5 going 45 and over! All released and were caught using bait. Also a new PB for both Jack and I with his going 47 and myne 51 - both estimated between 2 and 2.5kg. I'll let the pics do most of the talking.

Thanks mate. Um not really sure about the tides with this only being our second trip targeting jacks. Also, out of the two trips, this trip was the first time we've caught them during the day but both of my biggest (50 and 51cm) came at night.

The setups we used were 6 and 15lb with 30-50lb leader and 4/0 Mustad Big Gun hooks. A couple of 45s came on 6lb! Lol.
