PB Mangrove Jack

[Shagga]

Went down to spot X on the Goldy with Didley last night to drown a few baits. Just after midnight I managed to grab my rod as it was being dragged out of the boat by a Jack that puts me in the 60 club. My previous best was 48cm's.

You could say I was stoked. ::)

Thats well deserved cos I know youve put a lot of late nights into that spot for little results. Great fish shagga, thats a top spot that is. I also got my pb from there, but Im not in the 60 club yet.

Hey nice jacks bud, nothing like em in the rivers i reakon, hey i know not many like to give away their jack spots, but could you help me out with a couple. Which rivers do you fish for them and what river do you think fishes for jacks the best. Do you prefere near the mouth or up the rivers and creeks

The Jack King, there is a bloke that fishes Noosa river a lot calls himself Ffejina or something, he's happy to give pointers to up and coming jackers, if you chat him up he may even take you out with him and show U a few spots. As for spot X on the Narang, I'd give it a miss it's fished out. Give the Tweed river a go or if you want north try the Mooloolah or the Maroochy, or the creeks that run off it (Petrie or Eudlo) are hot.
