lures at night

me and my mates have been starting to venture out at night chucking different types of lures in the passage. and in the maroochy river. just wondering if there is any particular lures we should be using at night. mainly chasing jacks and jews.

Hey there,

You should start with some deep divers, around the 80-100mm range. All colours can work but my favourite would be anything that has a solid flash involved. My favourite would be a Smith cherry blood. You should also upgrade the trebles.

I haven't tried many shallow running lures so far this season, so can't help you there.

For Jew, imo vibs and soft plastics are the go. Try some 3inch shrimps. If they don't get hit, there no jew around.
