Hello all.
im going to bribie for the september october holidays, and wondering what would be around. weve got a 4.4 centre console and 40hp zook, so would be able to venture into the bay on most days.

weve got gear ranging from 2kg flick sticks for plastics to 20kg overheads fro bottom bashing and most things in between. so were ready for anything. have there been many snapper, flattys, whiting, pelagics, reefys or sharks around in the passage and northern bay. or still be around when we get there.

also are there many crabs around.

any hints would be great.

The season is starting to warm up for certain varieties, there's still tailor to be had, I could tell you where to go but most places suffer heavy traffic. trick is to put faith in your sounder and find some little known structure. Livies are working well at the moment and try to be out early or late, whichever suits.

Good luck.
