There is a bilge section with a fair bit of general chat (read that crap...but interesting crap) but it is just for premium and platinum and above members.
Well worth the premium subscription just for the read I reckon. It also has GPS marks there so they might be handy to a lot of people.
Or there is the test board. A fair bit of general stuff there too.

It can only be accessed if you are a premium or platinum member. Premium member is the paid subscription, platinum is all the old or young dudes with nothing better to do other than post on AF;D

Anyways...you'll just have to post more Yellowbeard to access the bilge...or pay the dollars.
Posting in the wrong forum doesn't stop you becoming platinum...not having a 1,000 posts will.

I made a blue and Mod 5 is correct in saying you only need to be GOLD to get to the bilge.
So...go for gold young fella ;)
