Read a story in the latest Fishing World that mentioned 'plappers'. They sounded interesting, so I looked them up on the web.
For those, like myself, that were previously unaware, they're essentially a soft plastic, on a hook, with a chunk of foam in front of the plastic to help it float and make it 'pop'.
I'm keen to give these a go, as I get a bit of a kick out of making things like that.
Just wondering if anyone on this site has tried making their own, and wondering how they well worked?
Cheers!

There's a great article on these in a "barra, bass & bream" magazine. It shows you clearly how they are made and apparently they work well, though I haven't tried them myself.

Yeah, I was about 5 min late to the Tackle Warehouse today to buy a copy...
I'm pretty keen to try them out, at least in so far as making them. Gives me something to do when I'm not fishing, playing with the boat, or playing with the car.

Thanks Breamnut!
Those look like what I want!
Any idea if anyone in Brisbane or the Gold Coast carries them?

Hi, have a look at the bream master forum, there is some info there on them.
Hope mods don't mind the "other" forum.
Cheers, Ratbags.
