What do you guys think? I know i've been using the camera more and more when out fishing and have been on a long and steep learning curve trying to improve my technique of getting those action shots of marlin that look so damed impressive in the mags! There is just so much to it , speeds, apatures file sizes , composing the shots and not to mention the editing software out there! Some of the guys on here take great pics ;) others need help!:-X I have spent a bit of time searching other boards but to have a more fishing focused section on a site we are used to could be really helpful ! Anyway it's out there now, over to you powers at be!;)

I think it has merits. Perhaps a library section for those posts of great info eg Blackened's thread of cleaning your rig.

If you want a really good photography forum with lots of members and some professionals to boot, http://www.overclockers.com.au (yep, it's a computer forum with a photography sub forum :))

Speaking of photography. Just picked up a new epson r800 photo printer. Man this thing is good. Still feeling my way around the colour profiles but already the thing prints as good if not better than most photolabs.

Currently printing out a sunrise over the shorncliffe pier Pinhead!!! No sun in sight though!

That's the end result. I think Ian's talking about before the end result, so you can take a great photo of those sunsets you love.

Yep. My printer is calibrated to my monitor so I know that what I see, is what is going to be printed correctly.
