Accurate/Avet retailer in Bris/Gold Coast

Greetings all,
I will be travelling to Bris/Coolangatta in about 4 weeks and was wondering if any of you knew of a retailer in these locales that might stock Accurate and/or Avet overheads. Will have a hire car but not heaps of time so maybe not so good if out in the boonies ::) I have done a fair bit of reading on the net but really want to see what they feel and look like....it would seem that the smallest ones (197) isnt much bigger than an ABU6500C. Was thinking more of a TSM IV size...around 870 size in Accurate I think....Avet around MXL size. Any comments about either of these reels very welcome.

give Jone's Tackle a try www.jonestackle.com.au (http://www.jonestackle.com.au) I know they had Accurates and pretty sure Avet as well. If you want a particular reel they can probably get it in for you.

I remember reading somewhere that Australian Rod Manufacturers(Gary Howard) are also a dealer/importer of Accurate reels. (07) 3881 3550 is the phone number.

IMO, if you can part with the extra dough, go with the Accurate. All Accurates have a twin drag system, where the Avet's are single(until you get to the Pro Ex models). I have used a B665 Narrow and it was awesome. Only problem is that it now has me saving for a BX2-600N or BX2-30N. Decisions, decisions. Either way, you won't be disappointed mate.

Last time I was at tackle warehouse they had accurates ot sure about avets though
