Tweed Shire Council releases 2009 waterways health report

I know there's a few of you that live down around here and some visitors that like to come for a fish, thought you might like a read of this. I found it interesting.

Those reports are definitely an eye opener, I havent read this years but when I used to work in Tweed I read the 2007 and 2008 ones and was a little scared by what I read :o

An interesting report card. I failed to find in this report card that any recommended remedy should inlude fishing exclusion zones. I do hope that this report card surfaces when the greens bulldoze through with more fishing exclusion zones.
