I havent been for a look at the old coastwatch web site for some time but since my last visit it seems they have uploaded some great old fishing videos from the show

Some great names there - One of the 2 johns, barry mcdade - takes me back as I never missed the show. Too bad brownie turned on rec fishing

Brownie's still around here in Brisbane Mark. He still does his 4KQ radio reports and a bit in the Sunday mail, thats about it

Same here Brett i just wasted over a hour on these vids;D good to bring back the old days..seems like yesturday i watched these on tv8-) I didn't have kids then so there over 10 years old.
I think old Bazza still lives in his hay day..;D :P .

Thanks Greg some good old vids there, pity the quality of fishing isnt still like the old days at those spots.

Martin Cowling brings back memories, my Dad often spoke of him been the Bream King at the pin back when I was a young fella when he was in Virginia Nundah Fishing Club. Full moon at the Pin in June I can here it so plain!! Lucky I experienced a few of those trips, the bream were thick down there!!

Yeah Dean great videos. I remember fishing with the old boy on the Southern tip of Sth Straddie near the old southport bar in winter. We used to get some stonker bream in there during winter in the late arvo.

Old boy has been a bit crook so he hasnt been looking for the old pics. Soon as we find some I'll scan them and PM you.
