Courier to Transport a Rod

I need to transport a rod (it will be ~6 foot when packed) from Perth to Brisbane. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for a good courier service that I should contact?

hi Simon, you'll find it hard to beat www.transdirect.com.au insurance included. Should not cost you more than $30 fully insured ... highly recommended ... by me anyway:-)

Hi Simon,
I got a rod sent up from Melbourne,they used Australian Air Express.Arrived safe and sound(and quick)it was about the same price I think(between $20-30).
