Howdy folks,

Northern bay looks like being cr@p tomorrow so I'm thinking of towing to the southside and having a go around peel, straddie, macleay or the like.

At this stage I think I'd like to just have a nice day on the water and maybe chase (read target, chase implies much too much energy!) a tailor or two.

Can you suggest a decent launching point (I've only ever used the public ramp at Raby Bay) and or general area to fish that might be reasonable and a little protected from the elements?

Thanks in advance,

Steve A

How about the private ramp ($5) at Ferry Rd. Carbrook on the Logan.

Can't get much more protected than that!

Not too far from the pin and southern islands.
