Ok everyone, thinking of going up the Bribie Passage tomorrow morning about 8am back just after lunch, leaving from Scarborough & shooting straight across. Unsure if tomorrows winds will make it a rough trip across & if the passage itself will be rough?? In a 6.4M walkaround with kids::) on board and woman skipper (ME:o ). Any local info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Sammy xx PS where to fish too would be great:P .

My sis does it in a 575 CC Outsider all the time. Puts in at Scarbie (boat club) and heads to the passage to fish Ningi Ck, or to the Caboolture river. Chuck in some light outfits, some hardbody lures, and do a bit of trolling on the channel edges and you should pick up some flathead and bream, use HB lures around the 45mm to 65mm range, with deep diving bibs, colours i would be looking at would be orange/black, orange red, lime tiger, natural/clear. Or if all else fails.....drop the pick near a creek mouth/deep drop off and chuck some stinky stuff around....you have the right tides to do that.
