Good catch of tailor and bream there Shane. Were the tailor working in schools with birds or just cruising around molesting anything in thier path?

Hi Jack they just molest anything in there path we had a triple hook up at 1 stage but tim dropped his fish
pound for pound these bigger 40-50cm fish go harder than barra and fight all the way to the boat

Thats a great haul of Tailor you managed to pick up. Were they all on trolled baits
Good stuff Shane, how far were you trolling off the mud in the shallows or a bit deeper? good stuff might have to go out there and see if I can troll some up on hardbodies.

why would you need to keep that many fish!
Jokes Shane ;)
Have you fished the passage lately? Reports of good bream and flatties up there. How are you going with your gun spot now a green zone in there? Discovered new ground?

Hey mate,
Great catch, that bream in the first photo looks massive!!! It might be just the angle but looks good.
Just a query on the trolling, do you use a weight to keep the baits in a certain column or just unweighted and vary the speed?
Cheers

all trolled at the slowest speed on a 40 hp yamaha with a pea sinker above the hooks to keep the bait just under the surface the smallest bream was 32cm
