Media player not working

Gday Viewers does anyone know why Windows media player doesn't work in Firefox. I was trying to listen to Macca on the ABC online but it's just a black screen with "video is loading" on but no sound.

Any help appreciated.

In the "About plugins" window the only thing not enabled is the Mozilla default plug in, file name npnul32.dll is this my problem? If so how do I fix it?
