Quick Report for Woody Point

Headed off from Dohles Rocks at about 6am. Conditions were fantastic so headed out to Woody Point. Dropped three pots and then drifted north of the green zone. Nothing happening with fish so checked the pots and managed 6 keepers before 8am :D . Continued to fish for no result, and continued to get more and more crabs.

My wife and kids always pays out on me for only catching crabs so I was estatic to finally get a decent estuary cod around noon after getting bricked a couple of times anchored up near the Garnet Rock beacon.

Final tally, 12 crabs (released several just legal models), 1 estuary cod, one squid and one good winter whiting.

I'm still waiting for someone to take me onboard when they next go crabbing to get some sandies, Looks like another year without.

I did mention I'll contribute towards fuel and bait.
