Spur of the moment decided to head out to Green on dusk for a night time plastic session with a good mate.
Hit all our usual spots which were relatively quiet, so thought we would go to a spot I know where the water goes from 24ft to 8ft back to 24ft. As we thought, the fish where in the shallower water feeding. We would have caught well over 50 fish for the night, kept 3 between 40 and 45cm.
Plastic of choice was rootbeer Gulp minnow, I dont know why, but they were getting smashed.

I have found the bottom end has more fish during the day, but I think that is because of boat traffic.
Went up the top the other night, lots of boats anchored up where they always are, but nothing at the top at all.
Was very surprised at how many fish we got on SPs at night, was an eye opener for sure.

Good job on pulling them with the root beer colour and i think you would have had no moon until real late. Cheers

Dave, i think that was my problem on Tues night, too much moon by the time i got out! A mate was on the water very east of Green late that afternoon and nailed a 7kg + Snap around dusk! Only pan fish after that...
