WOW! Cant believe how manu huge snaps have come out of the bay this last week. I cant wait to get back out there, and thinking I might have to up my line class. Dont think I could land one of those of 10lb. Throphy fish!

You and i both Summer Trance these reds are bigger than any other season and it has only started. We can only try to hook up on a big horse of a mother that can only push us over the 10 kilo mark but it's a big ask and i don't know if my gear could hold those big boyz. Well done on a huge red and i would like to know if it was with plastics or the smelly stuff.Goooooooooood fish and well deserved.

After doing 75 miles on Friday for a donut that sort of makes me feel a bit crook in the guts!!! Cracker of a fish for your mate. Might stay in the bay a bit more this winter. At least it's $50 cheaper if I miss out!!!

Cheers.....Terry....

I know the feeling therapy, did 132km on friday for two lippers and have now come to the realisation that the better fish are not always offshore! i`ll be sticking to the bay for the winter also. Cheers Andrew

Big Al says thanks for all the reply`s .

Sounds like some nice winter snapper have arrived early in the bay. Hope they turn up north here at Bribie area as well for sizes like that! Will save me a trip down south. Cheers, Darren
