finally got a feed

Well we've been lucky to have a couple of trips out to Wello and surrounds this last week. Nothing flash but a good feed none the less.:P
A heap of small squire about as has been reported, quite a few 25 - 27cm bream and lots and lots of tailor.

The son managed a nice schoolie and legal squire last week and I was able to add a couple of tailor to the plate last night. I found the tailor were hitting anything that moved last night and were swallowing my 4 gangers and biting me off with regular monotony. :'( Must have dropped at least my bag limit :-[

Also got a feed of sandies which never goes astray.....;D ;D ::)

Good catch, it seems there is no shortage of tailor about in the bay at the moment.

Interestingly enough, I managed to score half a dozen or so good sized leatherjackets in the pots too.
Too right Chris, its been a few years since we've seen so many tailor in the shallows so early in the season. Hope it is a sign of the bigger ones to follow.
