Left the ramp at about 6.30am (about an hour too late for my liking but had to get a few work queries sorted).....anyway....hit North Coochie...completed a couple of drifts for two 30cm snapps....a few boats motored past, all went quiet and I knew it was time to try somewhere else....headed over to Peel and surprisingly there was only one other boat at the south west side.....first drift I land a 40cm snapp (took a 3inch Baby Bass Zoom) and thought there must be more here....a few more drifts only to get snagged on rocks....another hit on a 3 inch gulp prawn landed me what I beleive to be a blue tusk-fish - no picture but a good looking tropical fish....headed to Macleay for a couple of drifts with no luck....
Overall, happy with the 40cm snapp which has been filleted and ready for dinner....seems that good size fish are around but as soon as a bit of traffic goes through it dies down....my SP experiences continue...

Nice new PB on the plastics mate. With winter well on its way that figure is sure to creep up and get bigger and bigger.
