I think Silver works a treat, or a light Blue. Just on the topic : What colour lure did you and your mate get your Trevally on and were they GT's, Silver or? Good job anyway.

Can I also ask what type of lures? Very curious as I wouldn't mind targeting the GT's off Straddy.
Thanks,

well mine was a micro mullet dark blue at the top then it zig zags into white and i pink dot near its mouth on the bottom
my mates is black at the top then it turns red and zig zags into white but the lure is basically white now bcuz of all the fish and hits he has got soo many and his lure is a micro mini so the smaller version of mine but he cnt cast out as far but he still seems to get more fish :-/ hell gay im goin 2 get his lure but in the micro mullet version;D ahah

I have found Red head with White body seem to work well and the Trout seem to love them also.......

trevally can be caught on poppers, soft plastics, metal lures, hardbodies, skirts and probably other lure styles also. I think it is much more important to get a lure with a good action in the right size, than worry about the colour.
BTW, I have taken trevally on lures both at night and during daylight hours on poppers and plastics and metal lures, so no colour not very important.

I've been told black poppers work well on moonlit nights.
