Lucinda / Dungeness Fuel

G'day,
Putting together a plan at the moment for a 10 day trip from Bowen, up around the top of Hinchinbrook and back down via the reef.

Anyone know if diesel is available off a wharf at Dungeness?

mate not sure if it is available publicly but have seen trawlers fueling up from trucks off the Lucinda walk on jetty (not dungo) before, masy need to enquire with fuel company or the people who own the sugar loader (no idea who they are) thats about all i know

At lucinda theres not but at the top end at port hinchinbrook there is fuel available at the docks.You could always ring the fuel company and maybe they could meet you there if it was a big enough qty that you needed at lucinda that is.:)

At the shop at Lucinda there is if you have a fuel can. You can take the boat almost to it.
