Anchor Winch

Hi All,

Interested to see Pic's of Barcrusher's fitted with anchor winches, as I can see some modifications have to be made to fit some models.

1) What model have you got fitted?
2) How was it mounted.
3) How have you found the free fall?
4) What is the retrieval like?

I probably can't help too much with the modification side of things because I have the 640C which comes standard with the mounting plate for the Stressfree winch. So I have the Mini NG mounted in to that plate.

The free fall is excellent, simply pay out enough line to let the chain clear the bow sprit and push a button, no problems, and the retreival rate is fine as well. Put it this way, I wouldn't be without it now.
