was out at Caboolture river the other morning and there was 9 trawler hitting the bay at the mouth of the river.
there were a few small boats there as well casting for prawns.
all up about 7 hrs worth of it they were there for.

Yeah i seen the same thing Monday morning, They were just out from the yellow marker.

Not everyone can throw a net, they have to earn a living some how legally. A good sign the prawns are running for sure

yeah i was one of the smaller boats out there... wasnt quiet sure wat was goin on so went for a drive!! they were chasing big banana prawns i got a total of 12 prawns in the cast net.. was to hard to avoid the trawlers, had to keep an eye on them cause they didnt care if u were in there way!!! Oh well i had a go lol...

Not to sure bondy99 but the trawlers were just doing big runs up and back non stop.
wide_body did you see them pull there nets at all i didnt see how full full they were.

you guys were a few days late maybe, they see that we're catching them then they move in a clean up, same thing happened tuesday i was in front of shorny-nudgee, cleaning up, next day went up to the cliff to look over and just see about 6 trawlers carvin it up...sux for us hey..just when u get a taste for the prawns too
