Terracan - is no more!

During my research into 7 seater 'family size' 4wd's capable of beach work I sent an enquiry email to Hyundai Australia.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Terracan model has been discontinued in Australia, and at this stage
there are no plans in introducing this vehicle back into the
Australian market.

Yeah they dont meet the emission requirements. you gotta buy second hand.

Someone told me that the terracan might be re-introduced here at some point but it don't look like it'll happen.

Apparently the terracan have a bit of a following in South Africa. The top of the line model there, with full specs is around the AU$50k mark - so creeping up!

I heard its s'posed to be Hyundai's answer to the Prado.
