South Ballina beach

Guys
Going there for the first time in a few weeks and just looking for some advice and fishing tips.
Seems you can drive to Evans Head on the beach?
Do you need a beach driving permit a la Bribie / Moreton etc?

No permit requied ,well it wasnt in january anyway.As for driving to Evans its possible only at bottom low tide because of the rocks about 3/4 way.Fishing can be a bit of hot and cold but slugs seems to pick up some speedsters this time of the year.

No permit needed at this stage. George is right tho you can only get to Evans at the bottom of the tide due to the coffee rock. Lots of good structure along the beach. Send mea PM if you need any more info
