hi all.

went to bcf this morning so kevin crud could shout me a new rod and do my bit for the economy, found two steve staling jig sticks (shimano) for $120 bucks, yep this al do me and it's two peace . now which one, over head or spinner.

after much head scratching went the over head......... got to the counter and it scanned $78 bucks.... you beauty........ raced back and grabbed a spin one as well.

gota be happy with that. go get em.:o

Don't you just love it when that happens.Enjoy them twice as much.Hope you already had the hardware too go on rods???WELL DONE.Jim

I had a good session at another shop similar to what you've mentioned but with a different name (some type of snake lol). I went through all the bargain bins like a man possessed (love my bargain bins ;) ) and found an 80g sacrifce stick marked $11 but it scanned up as $6.50, a 250g williamson high speed jig with no tag on it which scanned up for $8 and a 2 pack of Gamakatsu assist hooks for $2. I was in my prime let me tell you hehe

Thats the right price, they are on special in the catalouge
