after watching the boat adorn the lawn for two long years she finally hit the water for a fish on wednesday. out late 9am over to moreton rounthe corner heading for hutchies swell fairly large chicken out back to curtain for a fairly uneventful day. 1 keeper squire at 42cm back to spinnaker at 330 after a lightning fast bay crossing. barely worth the typing except to say dam good to be back on the water.

Two years:P Thats a lopng time between drinks. I would have been very dubious about taking her offshore without at least one good shakedown trip

probably should clarify before the thread is overtaken with safety advise, it wasn't her first trip, she had been out to run in the new black anchor 115 opti and make sure she still held water. dammed if that opti isnt a good motor gets along real nice and cheaper to run than the old 110 johnno. Just a little hard for a johnno man like myself to get over bolting on an opti but $4k cheaper makes it a no brainer

Hi

The Opti's are good motors, proven over the previous 8 or so years.

You will find that you will will use about 40% leass fuel than you did with the carbied 2 banger.

Cheers
