Hi guys,
My dad and I took our new boat for it's first spin today;D and we are going to take it for a fish at green tomorrow (Weather Permitting of course). However, as this is our first real boat, we have never fished green before and we are seeking some advice. What bait/Lures would you recommend, and which side of the island? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

NE corner has produced for me with sp's 1/8th 3/0 jighead light leader 12-14 pound flurocarbon at max. Try the usual plastics in the 3-5 inch range, but there is no such thing as a secret spot, if the baitfish are not there the predators won't be there.

SE corner on the contour line that is circular
Also the Western side there is a wreck on the green zone line only good in winter though

Yeah, Sorry for being unclear.
Dad and I went for a fish today at green, Don't really know what side of the island we where on, but it was out of the wind so we stayed there. First cast with my soft plastic and I got bitten off and my dad dropped a strike. Then after that it was generally a strike a cast, but I only landed 4 small fish (dad got none;D) Got a pike, a big grinner, :-/ and two small squire. All were good fun.
