Hi all hit donnybrook at a late 6.30am this morning pumped a few yabbies and my mate tim chucked a plastic around off the bank for a while then hook a little 30cm flattie that was released, we then headed over to a spot i told him i quite often see flattie scooting from when i motor in to fish for tings we cut the motor and pushed in with paddles and started chucking plastics, 2nd cast tim was onto a nice 45cm model for dinner stayed there for another 10 minutes then went to my ting spot and anchored up started catching a few nice bream then i boated a 38cm ting that tim nearly had kittens after seeing the size and how thick it was, he then landed a 36 cm ting and i boated a 25 cm ting that looked like it would fit in the mouth of the 38cm fish we then landed a few more fish mainly bream then went over another new spot where i got a 36 cm grunter ,we had a drift along this bank and tim landed another couple of small flatties that were released ,then home on top of the tide, the water is getting a bit better if no rain between now and monday should be pretty good all up we kept 4 tings, 1 flattie 1 grunter and about 4 bream

Well Done Shane - thought I saw you out there today around 10:30ish. I said g'day but don't think it was you - had a honda on the back, a white boat still with a electric motor on front - is that you??? Anyway, at least I was friendly - said g'day and asked how things were. Quiet at Donnybrook hey - the Bribie end of town though is full of boats this Easter - there must have been 15-20 boats around the Ningi Cross mark at lunch time today, and and 500 pots up the passage in the main channel. Cheers mate, darren.
