i have a 13ft with 9.9 on the back any one know what kind of speeds i will reach ?

Lightly loaded (1 person, no gear) around 30-35 km/h (16-18knots) I'd guess. Heavy load maybe half of that.

I have found flat bottom punts a lot faster than vee bottom tinnies.

Hi Maverik,

I have a 13 foot with a 20hp it is good for 40kmh just with 2 people and usual fishing gear.

I would think 30kmh absolute max.

But its not all about speed, just getting out there amongst 'em
