ok lookin for a light barra/jack/snapper/ heavy bream/flathead bait caster rod
two that i have seen recently at awesome prices have been the phluger president 4-6kg rod for $99

or i also got offered a strudwick hardbaitz 4-6kg today that has been hangin around the sho too long for $170 if i buy a reel as well

So whats the concensus phluger or spend the extra coin and go the struddy is it worth it?

mate, not sure bout those rods have heard stories about handling fish and sudden snaps. Personally i'd look around for a penn pinpoint. Very capable and good blank with good guides for the money. The way to go. Other than that save a little and go a T-Curve.

I'd go the strudwick...have heard stories about the strudwicks snapping but mine is great,,,,stilll in one piece and has caught a lot of good fish.

I have two phluger's not snapped caught many many fish very happy awesome rod for the dollars spent. I dont think you can go past them i my opion.

pfleuger rods are awsome for there price and great with there warentee, not to many retailers will carry strudwick anymore because of there poor service
