barra park update

[nuggstar]

friday and saturday were quite good with lots of barra boofing my surface lures.
saturday night we had a privet sesh and they shut down on lures and livies and would only hit pellets so the fly rod was used to good afect. come 3 am in the morn we caught some trespasers and the cops were called in to sort them out, so it was a interesting night. come 4 oclock in the morn and the cold sets in and the fish shut down big time. sunday was a dud and i only got one small one for the hole day. shut down big time>:(
monday the activaty picked up again but i had to work hard for them fishing with pellets. they only stated to hit lures again right on close time then it went of for 10 mins and died again.
i got some battorys so i got some pics for yas this time.

nice fish mate which pond did you get them out of? those trespassers hey did dave use his softball bat on them hahaha, i was going to bring some muddies up monday to, oh well next weekend maybe, good work ;Dhehe sammy had the bat. il be looking for ya, after monday the parks going to go nuts for the next two weeks so im sure ya going to have lots of fun with new ones going in;)

how do you rate the gekki for bream, whiting, trevs ect? awsome. they seem to be one of them ones that catch all fish and not just bream.;D the barra are so harsh on my owners, i went thrugh 2 packs on the little guys. im just glad i did not loose it;D

that could be arranged but i need a definite on the numbers coming and all need to pay a deposit. is cost $80 for the over nighters but im sure i can get ya's a discount if there is enuff of us, but it be wize to do it verry soon as this cold coming is going to make it realy tuff in the up coming month. il ask the boss man and try and t it up.

Excellent stuff. Either the overnighter or even a 4hr session (6:00pm-10:00pm?) Eitherway, I would be keen. Once you have some more details, It would be worth putting it up in the M&G section to see how many would put their hands up (and deposit down)

will do, just waiting to get back there so i can put it to the boss, but iv been getting the ball rolloing but, looks like swan boat hire might be sponcering it so i might be able to make it a small comp with some lures and crap as prises. would you guys like the fish till 12oclock idear or want the hole night to fish. we have a night fish coming up on this friday till 9 if any one is intrested in geting there this week

yer there is a big light over one end of big boys pond but the rest is not well lit up so yes bring a head lamp and a bucket full of insect repelent. i go back to the park tomorow arvo so i should have date for yas verry soon. looks like 12oclock is eazyest for every one so we will go for that ok, we probly put on a bbq as well.
