hi all
myself and 3 mates had our first crack at impoundment barra this weekend.
after a quick stop into foxies for some info, lures and a map we arrived at the dam just before lunch on friday.
fished from 2pm till dark for 0 result, unfased tho as it was more of a feeling out process than anything
next morning we when straight up to the southern arm of B. left in u herry and left my Dig cam,Hat and sunscreen:-[ . all that was forgotten however at 7:45am when i hooked up perfectly in the jaw to my first (and only for the trip) barra;D
after without a doubt the most knee weakening fight ive ever experienced the girl slipped into the net. 1 HAPPY CAMPER;D
no more touches after that and back at camp at midday for lunch
spent the arvy in the north arm of B for 1 small bump but that was it.
Barra went 97.5cm and was cought in a small bay with some light wind blowing into it on my 6' 8" barra raider 6-10kg,Daiwa saltist HRF ,30lb fins,80lb black majic supple trace and a 5" hollow belly rigged weedless
would like to thank all the IBD sufferers on here for the info i was given leading up to the trip. ill be back without a doubt.....
cheers JAYVEE
